Harwich Port (also spelled Harwichport) is a census-designated place (CDP), and affluent village that sits along the Nantucket Sound, in the town of Harwich in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 1,809 at the 2000 census. Harwich Port is noted for having three of the most beautiful harbors on the Cape: Allen Harbor, Saquatucket Harbor, and Wychmere Harbor . The downtown portion of the village is scattered along Route 28, which is littered with boutique hotels, clothing stores, cafes, jewelry stores, and restaurants. The Holy Trinity School, a private Pre-K through grade five school, is also located in Harwich Port along Main Street.
