Flensburg is a city in Morrison County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 244 at the 2000 census. It is named after the German town of Flensburg, though a less probable theory states that it was first named Flynn's Landing, after J.C. Flynn, one of the founding fathers of the city, the name then transitioning through Flynnsburg to Flensburg.[citation needed]
