Cloverdale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Tillamook County, Oregon, United States. The population was 242 at the 2000 census. Cloverdale was founded and named by Charles Ray (1851-1925), who settled in Tillamook County around 1884 at the site that later became the town. He later established a store, hotel, bank, and cheese factory, and a post office was established in 1899.
